Job summary

Vertiv Group Corporation in Melbourne is seeking a Service Technician to support commissioning, maintenance and after-hours service commitments for power-related systems. You will complete reports, manage timesheets, and keep customers satisfied while maintaining professional standards.

Ideal candidates will have electrical qualification and a valid A Grade licence, strong Microsoft Office skills, and a proven track record in the power industry.

Qualifications

• Electrical or electronics trade qualification is preferred.
• State-based A Grade electrical licence required or ideal.
• Commercial acumen and knowledge of data centres, telecom, or related industries.
• Proven track record as a service technician in the power industry.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Complete service reports and expense claims by due dates.
• Accurately fill and submit weekly timesheets; provide medical certificates for absences.
• Complete Field Service Reports with customer sign-off for all jobs.
• Perform commissioning, maintenance, and after-hours service efficiently.
• Maintain client relationships and report complaints promptly.
• Ensure vehicle, appearance, and company policies are followed.
• Manage spare parts stock requisitions to keep vans stocked.
• Identify sales and service opportunities and communicate to management.
• Promote WHS, environment and quality compliance.
