Job summary

HammondCare seeks a Power Platform Specialist/AI Engineer for a 12‑month fixed-term contract based at St Leonards. This hybrid role focuses on automation, AI and workflow solutions to simplify business processes and increase workforce capacity.

You will report to the Automation Lead and deliver across platform delivery, integration and innovation. In the first year, you will design and implement AI-enabled automation, lead enterprise automation using Power Platform, Dataverse and Azure, and

• Experience with AI-first development methodologies.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse) and Copilot Studio.
• Proven ability to design and deliver enterprise automation using APIs and Azure.

This is a fixed term contract for 12 months based at St Leonards (2-3 days office per week).

About the Role

The Power Platform Specialist / AI Engineer is HammondCare's technical specialist for automation, AI and workflow solutions. This hybrid role is responsible for designing, developing, implementing and supporting cutting-edge automation and AI-enabled capabilities that simplify business processes, reduce manual effort and increase workforce capacity across the organisation. This role will report into our Automation Lead.

In the first 12 months, you'll work on:

• Automation AI Solution Development: Design and deliver automation, workflow and AI-enabled solutions that improve productivity, service quality and operational efficiency
• Platform & Technical Delivery: Lead the development of enterprise automation capabilities using Microsoft Power Platform, Copilot Studio, Dataverse and Azure services
• Support integration & Optimisation: Integrate systems, data and business processes to create scalable, supportable and high-value automation outcomes
• AI & Innovation Enablement: Implement intelligent automation capabilities that support HammondCare's digital, data and AI strategy

Required Skills

• Agentic driven development experience. At Hammondcare, we operate in an AI-first development methodology
• Advanced expertise in Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Copilot Studio and Power Platform governance, with the ability to independently deliver complex enterprise solutions
• Proven experience developing integrations using APIs, Microsoft Graph, Azure services, connectors and modern integration patterns
• Strong experience implementing AI-enabled solutions, including Copilots, AI Agents, intelligent document processing, decision automation, generative AI and workflow orchestration
• Deep understanding of business process optimisation, workflow design and automation architecture, with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable, secure and maintainable technical solutions
• Demonstrated experience leading the end-to-end delivery of automation initiatives from solution design through development, testing, deployment, support and continuous improvement
