Job summary

Northern Sydney Local Health District is seeking an experienced Power BI Developer to work with clinicians and managers across NSLHD, developing dashboards and insights from concept through to delivery.

The BI role reports to the Principal Systems Analyst and drives EDW-based performance reporting, applying BI tools to deliver high-quality analytics and guidance across NSLHD.

Temporary Full Time position with 38 hours per week, remuneration of about AUD 2,635 to 2,994 per week.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Management or Health Administration and/or extensive experience in performance reporting and BI tool development.
• Experience analysing health datasets. NSW Health EDWARD data warehouse essential.
• Experience as a Power BI developer with strong design and development of interactive analytic tools.
• Experience in BI tool development within project frameworks including scoping, design, UAT, business continuity planning, access and maintenance and post-implementation evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Develop analytics solutions using BI tools to support NSLHD performance reporting.
• Apply knowledge of EDWARD data to analyse data quality and support the SDPR transition.
• Provide high level strategic analyses and manage portfolios with minimal supervision.
