Job summary

AI Talent is seeking a full-time Business Intelligence Developer to join a fast-growing BI and analytics practice. The role requires expert MS BI stack skills (SSAS/SSIS/SSRS/MSSQL), Power BI, PowerShell, and C#, with experience in data cleansing, migration of large datasets, and data warehouse design.

The candidate should have strong SQL, OLAP, ETL, and dimensional modelling experience, plus familiarity with SharePoint Online, JavaScript, and SCRUM. Visa can be provided for a suitable candidate.

AI Talent is looking for a full-time Business Intelligence Developer to join the fast-growing BI and analytics practice.

Requirements

Mandatory requirements :

• Be willing to live in or travel to Southern region NSW / Canberra.
• Expertise in Full Microsoft BI Stack,(SSAS, SSIS, SSRS, MSSQL) T-SQL, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and Analysis Services Tabular (SSAS) and DAX.
• Experience in business analytics solutions tools Microsoft Power BI.
• Understanding of PowerShell and C#.
• Experience with data cleansing and data migration of very large datasets.
• Experience in designing process maps, data flows, and technical solutions.
• Experience in data warehouse design and dimensional modelling (Kimball Methodology).

Must have/Be able to:

• Generate data insights using BI tools (Power BI)
• Strong technical knowledge of modern cloud technologies and Infrastructure including Azure, Office 365 (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange, Power Automate, etc.)
• Experience in scripting languages, such as PowerShell, to build automation and process data.
• Background in data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modelling) and data mining.
• In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP), and Extract, Transform, Load framework (ETL).
• Hands-on SharePoint Online experience and JavaScript
• Prior experience in managing IT Projects.
• Knowledge in self-learning predictive models with machine-learning algorithms
• Test, Debug, and Fix errors in different applications.
• Document business requirements for BI and App solutions.
• Create technical documentation.
• Develop functional specifications for use by BI and System developers.
• Support our Business Analysts to translate user interview results into user stories, acceptance criteria, and simple wireframes.
• Good verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Proven business acumen and problem-solving aptitude
• Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative
• Work with SCRUM methodology.
• Knowledge of CRM software
• 8+ years working with relational databases SQL Server and proficient with structured and unstructured data
• 7+ years of consulting experience
• A strong passion for learning and adapting to new technologies.
