Job summary

WorkPac is seeking a Powder Coater for a Western Australian based powder coating facility in Wangara. The role covers surface preparation, coating application, curing processes and quality checks to ensure a premium finish on metal components.

You will operate powder coating equipment, select powders, monitor temperatures, and optimise processes. A Monday–Friday roster and competitive pay reflect your experience and commitment to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Powder coating experience mandatory.
• Valid Driver's Licence with reliable transport.
• High-risk forklift licence is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare metal components for powder coating by cleaning, sanding, masking and surface treatment.
• Operate powder coating equipment and select powder type, colour and settings to meet project specs.
• Load/unload parts from ovens, monitor curing times and temperatures for consistent finish.
• Maintain booths, guns and ovens; report faults and safety concerns; support packaging and dispatch.
