Job summary

Aegis Rural PTY LTD is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor for a busy poultry production site in the Pakenham region. You will oversee day-to-day operations, coordinate people, production and maintenance, and lead a small team with a hands-on leadership approach.

Experience in poultry is not essential; the role values strong operational leadership across agricultural production, manufacturing, warehousing or logistics.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a small operational team.
• Manage daily staffing, rosters, work allocation and priorities.
• Provide clear direction and ensure tasks are followed through.
• Maintain oversight of daily production, investigate issues.
• Coordinate maintenance priorities with maintenance personnel.
• Plan and coordinate period shed turnarounds and major site activities.
• Support the team during busy periods and staff shortages.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, organisation and site presentation.
• Ensure equipment and facilities are cared for and safe.
• Maintain safety, biosecurity and animal welfare standards.
• Identify issues and drive corrective action.
• Improve site systems, routines and accountability.
• Provide reporting to senior management on performance and priorities.
