Responsibilities

• Conduct regular preventive maintenance inspections of farm facilities, equipment and infrastructure.
• Attend to breakdowns and assist with general repairs.
• Inspect and assess facilities to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Carry out pre-start checks on farm equipment.
• Document all maintenance activities, repairs and servicing.
• Perform minor repairs and adjustments to farm machinery and systems.
• Monitor adherence to animal welfare standards and biosecurity protocols.

Daily Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Conduct regular preventive maintenance inspections to identify wear and tear
• Attend to breakdowns and assist with general repairs
• Inspect and assess farm facilities, equipment, and infrastructure to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements
• Carry out pre-start checks on farm equipment
• Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment servicing
• Perform minor repairs, adjustments, and replacements on farm machinery, feeding systems, ventilation equipment, and other tools to minimise disruptions
• Monitor and maintain strict adherence to animal welfare standards and biosecurity protocols
