McLean Farms is seeking a Cleaner to join our Hopevale Cage Free Farm in Queensland. You will maintain cleanliness and hygiene across site facilities to support staff wellbeing and smooth farm operations.

The role involves cleaning amenities, stocking supplies, laundering workwear, and ensuring high hygiene standards in egg rooms and sheds. You’ll work independently and as part of a team in a farm setting, with a strong emphasis on safety and biosecurity.

Qualifications

• Candidates should demonstrate reliability and strong organisation.
• Experience working in a farm or shed environment is desirable.
• Knowledge of basic hygiene and biosecurity practices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and maintaining amenities, including toilets, showers, offices, and lunchrooms.
• Ensuring consumables are well stocked across facilities.
• Laundering, drying, and storing company clothing, boots, and PPE.
• Cleaning egg rooms and maintaining high hygiene standards.
• Cleaning egg towers within sheds and keeping surrounding areas tidy.
• Reporting any maintenance or hygiene issues as they arise.

This role plays an important part in maintaining high hygiene standards and supporting the day to day operations of our poultry site.

About The Role

This role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation across site facilities and operational areas. Your work will directly support staff wellbeing, biosecurity, and efficient farm operations.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Cleaning and maintaining amenities, including toilets, showers, offices, and lunchrooms
• Ensuring consumables are well stocked across facilities
• Laundering, drying, and storing company clothing, boots, and PPE
• Cleaning egg rooms and maintaining high hygiene standards
