Job summary

APG Workforce's client in Somerville, Victoria is seeking reliable, safety-focused team members for ongoing poultry deboning roles. Shifts are Day 6:00am–2:00pm and Afternoon 2:45pm–11:00pm, with overtime available.

Requirements include boning experience, strong knife skills, food production line experience and the ability to work in a cold, fast-paced environment. Induction is required prior to start; biosecurity rules apply.

Qualifications

• Previous food processing experience with deboning is required.
• Proven knife skills for deboning chicken.
• Experience on a production line and with operating food-processing machinery.

Responsibilities

• Deboning chicken carcasses accurately and efficiently.
• Inspecting raw materials against quality specifications.
• Work to individual and team production targets.
• Clean and maintain a safe workspace.
• Work with raw meat in a cold, fast-paced environment.
• Complete repetitive tasks and manual handling up to 15kg.
• Follow all food safety, quality and workplace safety requirements.
• Communicate effectively and maintain consistent standards during shifts.
