UNSW in Sydney invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow in the School of Chemistry to contribute to the development of novel electrocatalysts and ion exchange membranes for electrolyzers and fuel cells. You will synthesize, prototype, and scale-up demonstrations, assessing efficiency, durability and life-cycle cost as part of a dynamic research program.

Qualifications

• PhD required in chemistry, chemical engineering or materials science.
• Demonstrated expertise in electrocatalysis and/or ion exchange membranes.
• Experience with material synthesis, device assembly and materials characterisation.
• DFT calculations preferred but not required.

Responsabilités

• Contribute independently or as part of a team to advance research quality.
• Prepare manuscripts for publication in peer‑reviewed journals.
• Prototype electrochemical devices based on research results.
• Supervise students and manage lab activities as needed.
• Coordinate with external collaborators and disseminate results.
