Job summary

ACT Government is seeking an Infrastructure Officer 2 in Canberra to deliver, review and accept municipal infrastructure assets, including post-development submissions and asset handovers. You will coordinate inspections, ensure compliance with design standards, and support TTMS asset handovers to City and Environment.

The role focuses on technical assessment, liaising with asset owners, and coordinating with partners across local infrastructure programs.

Qualifications

• Professional/technical skills include tertiary qualifications in civil engineering with eligibility for professional association membership.

Responsibilities

• Provide input into assessment of post DA submissions; respond with design standard references within timeframes.
• Identify non-conformances of post DA submissions and liaise with asset owners to achieve outcomes.
• Assist in assessment, inspections and acceptance of subdivision and infill infrastructure assets; coordinate DRAA involvement onsite.
• Ensure all handover documentation is stored and distributed per branch processes (as-built drawings, O&M manuals, warranties, keys).
• This role does not supervise staff.
