Melba Support Services in Victoria seeks a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner to work with people with disability and their families, delivering person-led, evidence-based supports guided by human rights and trauma-informed practice. As a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner, you'll work alongside people with disability, their families, support networks and service teams to deliver person-led, evidence-based positive behaviour support services. Guided by Melba's human rights and trauma-informed practice framework, you'll help develop strategies that improve quality of life, build skills and reduce the need for restrictive practices over time. Working within a supportive clinical environment, you'll manage a caseload, contribute to assessments and behaviour support planning, and receive ongoing supervision and professional development to build your practice and expertise.
In this role, you'll work collaboratively with people we support and their teams to deliver positive behaviour support services that promote safety, dignity and quality of life.
