DataAnnotation is seeking contributors who are native or near-native in Portuguese to evaluate translations and provide high-quality feedback. You will rate model outputs for fidelity, fluency, and tone and write improved translations when necessary.

This is a flexible, remote role with project-based work and competitive compensation. Ideal candidates have localization or professional writing experience and strong command of English to clearly communicate in explanations.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in Portuguese.
• Translation, localization, or professional writing experience preferred.
• Clear written English: your explanations are the training signal.
• No degree required: we care about what you can do, not where you learned it.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate translations between English and Portuguese for fidelity, fluency, and tone.
• Rank and rate model output in Portuguese, catching what automated metrics miss.
• Write a better version when the model falls short, natural enough that no one could tell it was a translation.
