Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media on a flexible, remote schedule. You’ll assess how well AI outputs follow prompts and explain in writing what looked off, helping advance AI systems in real-world use.

You will hold live conversations with AI voice models, rank outputs, compare image and video pairs, and identify issues such as distortions, flickering, or misaligned audio. You’ll write precise explanations in English.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with clear written communication.
• Attention to detail with the ability to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Comfortable making clear decisions when both options have flaws.
• Currently accepting applicants from Australia, Canada, Ireland, United Kingdom, United States.

Responsibilities

• Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models.
• Ranking how natural, useful, and clear each one sounded.
• Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judging which follows the prompt.
• Inspecting outputs closely to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering or unnatural motion, text errors, and audio that doesn’t match the video.
• Rating outputs across dimensions like adherence, quality, and realism and writing explanations in English.
