Godfrey Group Recruitment & Consultancy in Sydney seeks an experienced Portfolio Administration Manager to lead a small team, acting as the central point between Advisers and external stakeholders. You will implement investment strategies end-to-end while driving back-office operations and technology functions.

This is a hands-on role requiring accuracy and focus on detail. The ideal candidate has 4+ years in Fund/Portfolio Administration, a Bachelor of Commerce/Finance, and strong client-facing

Qualifications

• 4+ years in Fund Administration or Portfolio Administration
• Experience managing people
• Client-focused experience in finance (fund administrator, custodian, wealth manager)
• Knowledge of financial markets, structures and products
• Strong verbal and written communication and teamwork
• Attention to detail and accuracy

Responsibilities

• Lead the team – allocate work, monitor workflow and maintain service standards
• Manage relationships with clients, accountants, solicitors, brokers, custodians, registries and other service providers
• Reconcile client portfolios and support wealth management including investments, superannuation, trusts
• Oversee investment implementation, fund transactions, reconciliations, reporting and record management
• Facilitate cash payment functions, including margin lending accounts
• Assist on projects addressing internal and client requests
• Oversee compliance with regulatory requirements, risk management, AML/KYC
