Job summary

LINX Port Services is seeking an Operations Manager to join the Port Adelaide leadership team. You will lead stevedoring operations, coordinate labour, equipment and resources, and drive continuous improvement for safety and efficiency.

You will manage vessel operations, cargo handling and performance, while building relationships with customers, unions and regulators to meet productivity targets.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in stevedoring, ports or industrial settings.
• Experience influencing teams in a highly unionised environment.
• Strong knowledge of operational planning and vessel operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead stevedoring operations across the site to meet safety and productivity targets.
• Coordinate labour, equipment and resources to satisfy operations and customer requirements.
• Manage vessel operations, cargo handling and overall performance.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance safety and efficiency.
• Build strong relationships with customers, agents, contractors and unions.
• Ensure compliance with safety, contractual and regulatory requirements.
