Job summary

Beaches Pool Supplies is hiring a Swimming Pool Technician for Cairns & Northern Beaches. You’ll service residential pools, assist the retail shop, and nurture customer relationships with a trusted local business.

Join a team offering uniform and equipment, a company vehicle after probation, and varied work in customers’ backyards and on-site jobs. This is a long-term, customer‑facing role suited to someone who enjoys the outdoors.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's licence with a clean driving record.
• Positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Enjoy the outdoors and take pride in your work.

Responsibilities

• Drive to residential pools and perform cleaning, testing and balancing.
• Assist in the retail shop when needed.
• Ensure customers and pools are looked after properly.
• Build strong relationships with loyal customers.

What You'll Be Doing

• Cleaning, testing and balancing residential swimming pools
• Helping out in our retail shop from time to time
• Making sure every customer and their pool is looked after properly
• Building great relationships with our loyal customer base

What We're Looking For

• Current driver's licence with a good driving record
• A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
• Great communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable working independently, and as part of a team
• Someone who enjoys the outdoors and takes pride in their work
• Previous pool service/trade/customer service experience is a bonus, but not essential

We're after a Cairns local ready to settle into a long-term role with us, this isn't suited to working holiday visa applicants.
