Job summary

Wellbeing Elements in Cowes invites a methodical and friendly Pool Supervisor to join our recovery and wellness centre. You’ll blend pool operations with strong customer service, helping members enjoy safe, high-quality experiences.

You’ll supervise daily operations, perform water testing, manage bookings, and support front of house, with training provided for pool chemistry and safety.

Qualifications

  • Customer service experience required.
  • Flexible roster including weekends and evenings.
  • Experience in pool or wellness operations desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily pool operations and maintain standards.
  • Monitor safety and cleanliness of pool areas.
  • Perform routine water testing and checklists.
  • Assist members with enquiries and bookings.
  • Report maintenance and safety issues promptly.
  • Support front of house and manage bookings as needed.
  • Respond to incidents following emergency procedures.

Job description

Wellbeing Elements is a recovery and wellness centre located in Cowes, Phillip Island. We have been open since January and offer a variety of experiences including magnesium pools, saunas, a steam room and compression boots.

We are looking for a pool supervisor to join our team, with regular hours on offer from November. The ideal candidate will be someone that is methodical, pragmatic and strategic whilst having exceptional customer service skills. This is a diverse role that combines pool operations with a lot of customer interaction. Experience working with pools and knowledge of pool chemistry is highly desirable but training will be provided for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily pool operations and ensure facility standards are maintained.
  • Monitor pool areas to ensure a safe environment for members and guests.
  • Conduct routine water testing and complete operational checklists.
  • Maintain cleanliness and presentation of pool and surrounding areas.
  • Assist members with enquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Manage bookings and support front of house operations as required.
  • Report maintenance and safety issues promptly.
  • Respond to incidents and follow emergency procedures when required.
  • Assist the team in carrying out daily cleaning procedures, to maintain a clean and hygienic space.

Essential Requirements
  • Availability to work a flexible roster, including weekends and evenings.
  • Customer service experience.

  • Point of sale and reservations experience.
