Job summary

GHS Solutions is seeking experienced Poly Welders for site work in the Midwest region, with FIFO or DIDO from Perth or Geraldton. This full-time permanent role offers a competitive salary and opportunities for development and training.

You will work on project sites around the Midwest, welding pipe ranges DN63 to DN350, and conducting commissioning for pipelines. A strong safety culture and on-site instrumentation knowledge are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year post-qualified experience as a poly welder.
• Experience in butt welding and electrofusion.
• Experience operating on various mine/construction sites.
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol tests.

Responsibilities

• Weld a range of pipe diameters from DN63 to DN350.
• Interpret piping and instrumentation diagrams and blueprints to plan layouts.
• Conduct commissioning on mechanical components of pipelines.
• Monitor machinery usage and temperatures to ensure safe operation.
• Assess welded surfaces for quality and identify imperfections.
• Maintain safety practices on site at all times.
