Job summary

JNG Plumbing & Civil in Brisbane is seeking experienced HDPE butt welders to join our crew. You will weld 63mm to 900mm HDPE pipe using McElroy Tracstar equipment, and perform inditch carriage butt welds with accuracy and safety.

Candidates must hold a Butt welding qualification and be local to the Brisbane area; FIFO/DIDO availability is a bonus. We value a proactive, detail-oriented attitude and a strong work ethic, with opportunities to upskill.

Qualifications

• Must have Butt welding Qualification.
• Must live in Brisbane area.
• Experience in butt welding HDPE pipe 63-900mm.
• Experience in using McElroy Tracstar's preferred.
• Electrofusion welding desirable.
• Excavator, Chainsaw & Dogman tickets also highly desirable.
• FIFO or DIDO work may be required from time to time.
• Proactive, forward-thinking with a strong work ethic.

Job description

• Butt welding HDPE pipe ranging from 63mm-900mm using McElroy Tracstar's.
• Butt welding HDPE pipe using low pressure inditch carriage welders.
• Experience in using McElroy Tracstar's preferred but not essential.
• Experience in Electrofusion welding desirable.
• Excavator, Chainsaw & Dogman tickets also Highly Desirable.
• Must have Butt welding Qualification.
• Must have a great attitude and take immense pride in their work with an eye for detail.
• Must be highly motivated with the desire to continue to upskill themselves.
• Willingness to do Occasional FIFO or DIDO work desirable.
• A proactive and forward thinking approach to your work along with a very strong work ethic is a must.
• MUST be living in Brisbane area.
