Job summary

Ministry of Health in NSW is recruiting a Policy Officer for the Community Living Programs, currently a temporary full-time role. You will support housing and homelessness policy and programs and contribute to senior-level briefs and policy documents.

You will coordinate projects, organise meetings, and engage with government and community stakeholders to deliver state-wide initiatives in mental health services.

Qualifications

• Appropriate tertiary qualifications and/or demonstrated relevant professional experience.
• Experience supporting policy, program or project work in a complex environment.
• Knowledge of mental health, housing and homelessness issues and service systems.

Responsibilities

• Support the development, delivery and implementation of mental health, housing and homelessness policy and projects.
• Contribute to briefs, reports, correspondence, policies for senior executives and Ministers.
• Provide project coordination and administrative support, including meetings, agendas and minutes.
