The Centre for Policy Development (CPD) is seeking a creative policy adviser to contribute to the Just Transition focus area and other economic policy initiatives across Australia and Southeast Asia. The role offers flexible hours, hybrid work in Sydney or Melbourne, and a strong emphasis on inclusive, collaborative policy making.

We expect experience in policy, research or advocacy and a track record of stakeholder engagement, clear communication, and rigorous analysis.

Formación

• Experience in policy, research or advocacy or related field.
• Ability to engage with external stakeholders and build relationships.
• Clear written and verbal communication; ability to explain complex policy ideas.

Responsabilidades

• Develop policy proposals and deliver projects guiding Australia through economic transitions.
• Plan and deliver policy engagement activities (roundtables, workshops, events).
• Undertake research and policy development on fair and equitable economic transition.
• Develop policy outputs and publications with Communications to translate research into clear materials.
• Contribute to CPD’s Just Transition focus area, including coordinating projects and reporting.
• Build networks with government, industry, civil society and researchers.
• Identify emerging issues and connections across CPD’s work.
