The Department of Education (Victoria) is seeking a Policy Advisor to join the Workforce Strategy team within Workforce Policy and Programs. This fixed-term, full-time role runs until 30 June 2027 and focuses on developing and implementing the kindergarten workforce strategy, plus related policy analysis and stakeholder engagement.

Applicants should have a university qualification in a related field and experience in policy design and communication.

Formación

• Experience in policy design, development and communication is desirable.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Ability to translate evidence and data into actionable policy options.

Responsabilidades

• providing high quality and timely written and verbal advice to leadership
• contributing to policy analysis and development to support Best Start, Best Life initiatives
• developing written communication products including slide decks, briefings, reports and cabinet submissions
• using data insights to inform strategic policy development and options analysis
• engaging with internal and external stakeholders to inform analysis and policy development
• being a collaborative, high-performing member of the Workforce Strategy team
