Central Gippsland Health (CGH) is seeking a Grade 2 Podiatrist to join our Allied Health team in Sale, Victoria, delivering high-quality podiatry services to the local community. You will manage a diverse caseload, build relationships with patients and carers, and work within a supportive multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• A recognised qualification in Podiatry.
• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• The ability to manage a clinical caseload.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Providing high-quality podiatry assessment, treatment and management to patients across a range of clinical presentations.
• Developing individualised care plans in partnership with patients, families and carers.
• Managing a clinical caseload alongside colleagues within the Allied Health team.
• Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary health professionals to achieve positive patient outcomes.
• Providing education and advice to patients, carers and other health professionals.
• Supporting health promotion, prevention and early intervention within the community.
• Contributing to service development and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Supporting the development of students and junior staff as appropriate to the role.

About the Allied Health Department

The CGH Allied Health Department comprises approximately 50 professionals across Physiotherapy and Exercise Physiology, Dietetics, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Podiatry and Social Work.

The department provides therapy to thousands of clients across community and outpatient services and works collaboratively to deliver high-quality, integrated care. You will be joining a friendly and supportive team that values collaboration, professional development and a culture of continuous improvement.

About the Role

As a Grade 2 Podiatrist, you will manage a clinical caseload and provide high-quality assessment, treatment and management across a range of clinical presentations. Working across the CGH service, you will have the opportunity to develop your clinical skills and broaden your experience while working with a diverse regional patient population.

We are looking for a Podiatrist who is passionate about delivering person-centred, evidence-based care and who enjoys working as part of a multidisciplinary team.

You will require:

• A recognised qualification in Podiatry.
• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• The ability to manage a clinical caseload.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a multidisciplinary team.
