Job summary

Gateway Health is seeking a part-time Podiatrist to join the Rural Health Team in Wodonga. The role involves delivering Allied Health services in homes, communities or clinics, with occasional travel to Wangaratta, Alpine Shire, or Benalla.

You’ll work with a multidisciplinary team focused on wellness and reablement for older adults and those with disabilities or chronic conditions. Registration with AHPRA and a Podiatry degree are required.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Podiatry, and registered Podiatrist with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency.
• Demonstrated understanding of evidence based practice.
• Experience with quality improvement activities.
• Demonstrated ability to be self directed and motivated.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Allied Health and Nursing services in homes, communities or clinics.
• Work within the Rural Health Team delivering services to older adults, people with disabilities or chronic conditions.
• Utilise a mix of individual and group service delivery models with wellness and reablement focus.

About the Role

This is a rewarding part-time opportunity (45.6 hours per fortnight) based in Wodonga, where you'll be part of our Rural Health Team. From time to time, you may be required to work out of Wangaratta, Alpine Shire and or Benalla.

The Rural Health Team is a multidisciplinary team delivering Allied Health and Nursing services. Our target population is typically older adults (65+), people with disabilities or people with chronic conditions impacting on their daily function. Our services are delivered in peoples’ homes, communities or are clinic based. We use a mixture of individual and group service delivery models and have a focus on wellness and reablement.

This role is classified under the Allied Health Professionals Victoria Community Health Centres Multi Employer Enterprise Agreement 2022-2026, Grade 2 ($49.38 - $56.78 + superannuation)

Skills & Experience
