Job summary

The Foot Stop Podiatry Services seeks a full-time Podiatrist to join its mobile team on the Gold Coast/Brisbane. You will conduct foot and lower limb assessments in patients' homes and residential facilities, diagnose conditions, and deliver evidence-based treatments.

Responsibilities include managing caseloads, creating individualized treatment plans, prescribing orthotics, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to improve mobility and foot health

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Podiatry with current AHPRA registration.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally for home visits.
• Excellent communication and patient-centered approach across diverse backgrounds.
• Experience in diabetes-related foot care, wound care, and orthotics is preferred.

Operating across South East QLD, Northern NSW, Sydney, the team is committed to improving access to podiatric services for diverse communities.

Known as “The Podiatrists Who Really Care,” the organization places a strong emphasis on compassion, community, and patient-centered care. All podiatrists are AHPRA registered and experienced in supporting individuals with mobility or transportation challenges, older adults, and anyone who finds it difficult to attend a traditional clinic.

Role Description This is a full-time, mobile ans xlinix Podiatrist role based on the Gold Coast (or Brisbane), supporting The Foot Stop’s mobile podiatry services in the region.

The Podiatrist will provide comprehensive foot and lower limb assessments, diagnose conditions, and deliver evidence-based treatments in patients’ homes and residential facilities.

Daily responsibilities include managing caseloads, developing individualized treatment plans, prescribing and fitting orthotics, and offering preventive and ongoing care for chronic conditions such as diabetes-related foot complications.

The role involves maintaining accurate clinical records, collaborating with other healthcare professionals, educating patients and caregivers on foot health, and upholding high standards of safety and professionalism.

The Podiatrist will contribute to a supportive team culture that prioritizes patient dignity, accessibility, and continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical foundation in Podiatry, with the ability to assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of foot and lower limb conditions.
• Knowledge of Biomechanics and Orthotics, including gait analysis, functional assessments, and prescribing or modifying orthotic devices.
• Experience in managing Diabetes-related foot issues, including risk assessment, wound care, and preventive education.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Podiatry (or equivalent), with current AHPRA registration and eligibility to practice in Australia.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally for home visits and residential care facilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a respectful, patient-centered approach to people from diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Experience in community, aged care, or mobile podiatry settings is an advantage.

Wages start at $100k + CBE + vehicle + CPD.
