Job summary

Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) is seeking a Podiatrist to join their allied health team on a part-time basis at Modbury Hospital, delivering podiatry care across a varied caseload.

This short-term contract runs to 31 January 2027, with salary bands for AHP1 and AHP2 pro rata and a range of SA Health benefits, governance standards and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Podiatry and current AHPRA registration.
• Experience delivering clinical podiatry services in hospital or community health settings.
• Experience with high-risk foot care, wound management and MSK conditions.
• Understanding SA Health governance frameworks and patient safety standards.
• Current National Police Check and immunisation compliance as required by SA Health.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality podiatry assessment, treatment, and management for a diverse patient caseload across the Modbury Hospital service.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary allied health team to support integrated, patient-centred care plans.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with SA Health standards and policies.

About the Role:

Modbury Hospital and the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) are looking for a skilled Podiatrist to join their allied health team on a part-time basis. What You'll Be Doing

• Delivering high-quality podiatry assessment, treatment, and management for a diverse patient caseload across the Modbury Hospital service
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary allied health team to support integrated, patient-centred care plans
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation in line with SA Health standards and policies
• Contributing to service improvement initiatives and supporting continuity of care across the NALHN network

What You'll Bring

• Tertiary qualification in Podiatry and current registration with AHPRA
• Demonstrated experience delivering clinical podiatry services, ideally within a hospital or community health setting
• Confident working across a varied caseload including high-risk foot care, wound management, and musculoskeletal conditions
• Sound understanding of SA Health clinical governance frameworks and patient safety standards
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Current National Police Clearance and relevant immunisation compliance as required by SA Health

To be eligible for this position, you must have anAppropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration with the Podiatry Board of Australia.
