Job summary

The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) is seeking graduates to join a structured rotating physiotherapy program across acute and sub-acute services in Adelaide. Starting your physiotherapy career is a significant step — and where you begin matters. The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) offers graduate physiotherapists a structured rotating program designed to build genuine clinical breadth across one of South Australia's most active public health services.

Your Rotations, Your Foundation

This full-time, fixed-term position (through to 6 February 2028) places you across a variety of clinical areas within NALHN Acute Hospital and Sub Acute Rehabilitation services, giving you exposure to diverse patient populations in a supported environment. Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering evidence-based physiotherapy assessment and treatment across rotating clinical areas
• Contributing to multidisciplinary team care planning and patient discharge coordination
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation in line with SA Health standards
• Actively participating in supervision sessions, in-services, and graduate development activities including the interprofessional NALHN Allied Health New Graduate Program.

What You Bring

• An AHPRA-registered physiotherapy qualification (or eligibility to register upon commencement)
• A genuine commitment to patient-centred care in a public health context
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for a multidisciplinary setting
• Willingness to work across clinical rotations including a 7-day roster and ability to adapt to varied clinical environments
• Alignment with SA Health's safety and quality frameworks, including an understanding of infection control principles
• Current or ability to obtain a National Police Clearance and Working With Children Check

PLEASE NOTE: Applicants are required to upload a current Academic Transcript with their application.

To be eligible for this position, you must have completed an appropriate degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration with the Physiotherapy Board within the last six months or expect to complete this by January 2027.

The successful candidates will commence in late January 2027.
