PJS Plumbing in Newcastle & Lower Hunter is seeking an Experienced Plumbing Tradesperson to join our local team on a full-time basis. You’ll cover light civil, commercial and residential plumbing, install sewer and water services, read plans, organize daily tasks and document work, with a friendly team and supportive management.

Experienced Plumbing Tradesperson

PJS Plumbing | Newcastle & Lower Hunter | Full time

Are you an experienced plumber who takes pride in their work and enjoys working with a good team?

We’re looking for a capable tradesperson to join PJS Plumbing. You might specialise in civil, construction or residential plumbing—or bring experience across all three. All-round experience is preferred, but we’re flexible about the mix of work to suit the right person’s strengths.

The work

Our work covers light civil infrastructure, commercial and industrial projects, residential plumbing and business maintenance.

Depending on your experience, your role may include:

• Installing in-ground sewer, stormwater and water services.

• Plumbing installations for residential, commercial and industrial projects.

• Maintenance, fault-finding and repairs.

• Reading plans and organising daily tasks, materials and equipment.

• Testing and documenting completed work.

You’ll work independently and alongside a small team, with support from management.

What you’ll bring

• A recognised plumbing trade qualification and solid practical experience.

• The ability to organise your work and follow jobs through to completion.

• Practical problem-solving skills and attention to quality.

• A reliable approach to work, safety and keeping sites tidy.

• Clear communication with teammates, customers and other trades.

Experience operating excavators or supervising apprentices would be an advantage, but isn’t essential.
