Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Victorian plumbing licence appropriate to the work.
• Qualifications/authorisations for water supply and gas fitting where required.
• Proven residential plumbing experience with hot water systems and heat pumps.
• Knowledge of Australian plumbing standards and safety regulations.
• Own tools and suitable transport, plus public liability insurance.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage scheduled jobs with documentation.

Responsibilities

• Install and replace residential hot water systems and heat pump water heaters.
• Carry out plumbing works replacing gas hot water with electric heat pump systems.
• Complete water supply connections, pipework, valves, drainage and related tasks.
• Install residential air conditioning systems, including multi-split systems.
• Coordinate with electricians, HVAC installers and other trades.
• Inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, and rectify installation issues.
• Prepare compliance certificates, job reports, and service documentation.
• Ensure work meets Australian standards and regulatory requirements.
