Job summary

CoreTemp Australia is seeking a hands-on Mechanical Plumber to install and service HVAC systems across residential and commercial projects. Based from our Somerville and Ringwood operations in Melbourne, you will manage ducted gas, evaporative, split and VRV networks through to hydronic packages, working with builders and property managers from set-out to commissioning.

You will bring a minimum of three years post-apprenticeship HVAC experience, strong fault finding and maintenance skills, and a

Qualifications

• Substantial (at least 3 years) post apprenticeship experience installing and servicing HVAC across residential or commercial sites.
• Strong breakdown, repair and preventative maintenance experience.
• Proven ability to run your own jobs and make sound technical calls without escalation.
• Hands on experience across ducted, split and reverse cycle systems, with VRV or hydronic highly regarded.
• Strong communication with clients, builders and consultants.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission and service ducted, split, reverse cycle, VRV and hydronic systems
• Deliver mechanical services packages on commercial projects
• Fault find, repair and carry out preventative maintenance
• Liaise with builders, consultants, property managers and homeowners on site
• Supervise apprentices and coordinate other trades
• Complete compliance certificates, VBA and VEU documentation accurately
