Job summary

Combined Plumbing Group on the Sunshine Coast is seeking an experienced Plumbing Foreman to lead and coordinate crews across residential, commercial, civil projects and large-scale installations. You will ensure safety, efficiency, and quality while meeting schedules and client expectations.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of plumbing experience, current Australian plumbing licence, driver’s licence and White Card, with a proven record of supervision and plan-reading abilities.

Qualifications

• Trade Qualified: Current Australian Plumbing Licence.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years' qualified plumbing experience.
• Leadership: Previous experience supervising or leading a plumbing crew preferred.
• Plans & Specifications: Confident reading and interpreting construction drawings.
• Communication: Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate with builders, trades and clients.
• Work Ethic: Reliable, organised and takes pride in delivering quality work.
• Problem Solver: Able to identify issues and find practical solutions.
• Licence: Current Australian Driver's Licence.
• White Card: Current Industry White Card.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and coordinating plumbers and apprentices on site.
• Planning daily workloads and allocating tasks.
• Reading and interpreting plans and specifications.
• Coordinating with builders, site supervisors, subcontractors and other trades.
• Ensuring works are completed in accordance with plans, specifications and relevant standards.
• Monitoring job progress, materials and labour requirements.
• Identifying and resolving issues on site.
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship.
• Ensuring SWMS, site safety and company procedures are followed.
• Assisting with project planning and programming.
• Reporting progress and issues back to management.
• Helping develop and mentor apprentices and junior plumbers.
• Assisting with variations and identifying additional works where required.

THE ROLE

As a Plumbing Foreman, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating plumbing crews across a variety of projects, including:

• High-quality new residential construction
• Commercial construction
• Civil infrastructure projects
• Large-scale plumbing installations
• General plumbing and hydraulic works

You will play a key role in ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, to a high standard and on schedule.

Your responsibilities will include:

We are looking for an experienced plumber who is ready to take the next step into a Foreman / Senior Leadership role.

Essential:

• Trade Qualified: Current Australian Plumbing Licence
