Job summary

Darling Downs Health is seeking a hands-on Plumber to deliver maintenance across water, drainage and gas systems at Kingaroy and regional facilities. In this role you’ll help keep essential healthcare services running safely and reliably while working with a supportive team.

You will bring Queensland Plumber and Drainer registration, trade qualifications, and a valid driver’s licence. The position emphasizes independent work, safety, and collaborative problem solving within healthcare

Qualifications

  • Current Queensland Plumber and Drainer registration and a valid driver's licence.
  • Trade qualifications in plumbing and draining, with strong technical knowledge and practical skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities and maintain high standards of quality and safety.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with colleagues and customers.
  • Gas work licensing, backflow prevention and thermostatic mixing valve endorsements, and/or a restricted electrical licence are advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver maintenance of plumbing, drainage and gas systems across healthcare facilities.
  • Identify issues early and implement practical solutions to minimise disruption.
