Job summary

Ku-ring-gai Council is seeking a dedicated and reliable Plumber to join our team, ensuring our local infrastructure and public facilities remain in excellent working order.

The role reports to the Coordinator Building & Trades Services and includes maintenance, repairs, and installations across public buildings, parks, and community facilities. A 38-hour week with a 9-day fortnight is offered, along with novated lease options and a suite of employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Relevant plumbing qualifications and a current driver’s licence
• Proven experience as a plumber
• Sound knowledge of plumbing systems, maintenance, and repair techniques
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
• 38 hours per week/9 day fortnight

Responsibilities

• Respond to plumbing emergencies quickly and efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to council services
• Work closely with other team members to ensure high-quality, timely service delivery
• Maintain accurate records of all plumbing work carried out and comply with relevant health and safety regulations
