Job summary

Moorlands Plumbing is seeking a fully qualified Plumber to join the team. You’ll work alongside the owner and three other qualified plumbers on new builds and high-end renovations in the Brisbane area.

We offer $50 per hour, super, and overtime with a permanent full-time role. Typical hours are Monday to Friday, 40 hours plus overtime, with some Saturdays available.

Qualifications

• QBCC licence required to practice plumbing in Australia.
• Construction (White) card is mandatory.
• Full Australian driving licence is required.
• Brisbane-based applicants preferred (Southside/Western Suburbs advantageous).
• Experience with plumbing for new builds is essential.
• Experience in high-end house renovations is a plus.
• Own basic tools preferred for site readiness.
• Heavy machinery licence is advantageous but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Perform plumbing work including drainage, rough-ins, stacks and fit-offs.
• Perform plumbing maintenance work.
• Work independently and efficiently as part of a small team.
• Maintain craftsmanship and attention to detail.
• Order materials for job projects.
• Liaise with building supervisors and council inspectors.
• Weekly pay.

About Us:

Moorlands Plumbing is an established business with a focus on plumbing, drainage and gas services for new house builds and high-end renovations.

We service the Brisbane, Logan, Ipswich, Moreton Bay and Redland Bay council areas, as well as some occasional work in the Somerset, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast regions.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a fully qualified Plumber to join the team. You’ll be working alongside the business owner (Adrian) and three other qualified plumbers.

$50 per hour + super

Permanent full-time role

Monday-Friday work (overtime available including Saturdays)

Expected hours: 40 + overtime

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform plumbing work including drainage, rough-ins, stacks and fit-offs.
• Perform plumbing maintenance work.
• Work independently and efficiently as part of a small team.
• Maintain a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail.
• Order materials for job projects.
• Liaise in a professional manner with building supervisors and council inspectors.

Requirements:

• QBCC valid fully occupational plumber's licence
• Valid Construction (White) card
• Full Australian driving licence
• Brisbane based, preferably Southside or Western Suburbs but not essential
• Experience in plumbing for new builds
• Experience in high-end house renovations advantageous
• Own basic tools preferred
• Reliable and self-motivated
• Heavy machinery licence advantageous.
