Job summary

SJG PLUMBING AND DRAINAGE in Warwick, Queensland, is seeking a fully qualified and licensed plumber to join our family-owned team on a permanent full-time basis. You will install and maintain plumbing and drainage systems, test and diagnose issues, and liaise with clients to explain work and timing.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified and Licensed plumber (Certificate III or Certificate IV in Plumbing).
• Gas fitting license/experience highly recommended (not essential).
• Current and valid Qld Driver's License.
• Construction Industry White Card.
• Ability to work cooperatively with other trades.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Pride in workmanship, reliable and professional.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Installation and maintenance of plumbing and drainage systems.
• Test, troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing and drainage systems to ensure they are functioning properly and make appropriate recommendations for repairs and replacements.
• Maintain tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition and safe to use.
• Comply with safety legislations, regulations and standards including use of appropriate PPEs and following all safety procedures.
• Communicate with clients to understand their needs, explain the work that you will be doing.
• Accurate recording keeping of the job, including time spent on each job, material used, and any problems encountered.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.
• Maintain current knowledge of state regulations affecting plumbing work.
• Maintain and update industry specific license.
