Uniting NSW.ACT is seeking a compassionate Play Facilitator to join the Newpin team in North Parramatta. This permanent part-time role supports parents and children (0-10 years) through trauma-informed, play-based activities in a therapeutic playroom.

This is a permanent part-time opportunity working 63 hours/ fortnight and will be based at Newpin North Parramatta - Available to work Monday – Thursday and alternate Fridays We’re looking for a compassionate, supportive, and adaptable Play Facilitator to join our Newpin team in North Parramatta. Working in our therapeutic family playroom, you’ll support parents and children to strenghten attachment, build emotional regulation, and enhance child development through play-based activities. You will create and facilitate meaningful therapeutic play experiences that support families working towards restoration. In this rewarding role, you will work alongside families to foster positive parent-child interactions, model developmentally appropriate play, and contribute to a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment where children and parents can learn and grow together.
The Newpin program specialises in supporting parents to work towards having their children safely returned to their care.
