Job summary

Platypus Shoes Echuca is seeking a Store Manager to lead a high-volume retail team, driving sales, KPI performance, and exceptional customer experiences. You will collaborate with the Area Manager to identify growth opportunities while maintaining visual standards in a busy retail environment.

You will coach and develop a passionate casual team and an Assistant Store Manager, ensuring strong morale, training, and adherence to OH&S guidelines.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience as a Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager in a high-volume retail environment.
• Strong leadership qualities with a results-focused and proactive mindset.
• Excellent communication and team development skills.
• Demonstrated ability to drive sales and manage store performance.
• Experience with stock management, operations, and visual merchandising.

Responsibilities

• Drive the overall performance of your store by achieving sales targets, KPIs, and maintaining visual merchandising standards.
• Lead and motivate your team to deliver outstanding results in sales and customer service.
• Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales, celebrating wins and identifying areas for improvement.
• Manage rosters and wage costs in line with company targets and operational needs.
• Coach and develop team members, ensuring ongoing training, high morale, and strong succession planning.
• Oversee stock levels, store presentation, and operational excellence.
• Ensure adherence to OH&S standards and legislation.

As the Store Manager at Platypus Shoes Echuca, you'll lead a team of passionate casual team members alongside your Assistant Store Manager.
