Job summary

The Commons Group is seeking a Platform & Integration Engineer to connect our growing ecosystem of systems across workspace, health club, hospitality and future ventures. You will own the integrations, APIs, data pipelines and internal tools that unify member data and business processes.

You will design foundations such as a canonical member identity, a normalised API layer, and a data warehouse that the business truly owns, enabling AI-enabled tooling and scalable growth.

Qualifications

• Experience integrating complex, disparate systems and third-party platforms.
• Experience designing or maintaining a data warehouse or data lake.
• Practical experience with dbt for data transformations.
• Experience building APIs, integrations and data pipelines.
• Experience with identity resolution across systems.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture and delivery of integrations across core business systems.
• Build APIs, data pipelines and automations that move information between systems.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and improve existing integrations.
• Work with third-party vendors to understand APIs and limitations.
• Help build and maintain a data warehouse as a source of truth.
• Develop a shared member identity across systems that don’t share a key.
• Design data ingestion, storage and modelling strategies including raw data handling.
• Use dbt to build tested, documented transformations.
• Enable BI and reporting with well-documented data.
