Job summary

Culture Amp is seeking a Staff Engineer to own the engineering and architecture of its Internal Technology platform, including workforce identity, enterprise SaaS tenancy, and office network controls as software infrastructure.

You will build a secure, automated, self‑service ecosystem that reduces operational drag, protects the control plane, and scales with our growth, reporting to Workplace Technology leadership.

Qualifications

• Strong systems-thinking and architecture skills for enterprise platforms.
• Ability to design resilient identity, SaaS and network architectures.
• Code-first approach with automated tooling and CI/CD practices.
• Practical leadership bridging engineering and IT operations.
• Focus on security, risk management and least-privilege controls.

Responsibilities

• Architect, secure and maintain root configuration and system integrity of core enterprise platforms.
• Design identity management, device trust and endpoint controls using IaC.
• Eliminate ClickOps by managing configurations via PRs and CI/CD pipelines.
• Own end-to-end identity lifecycle across joiner/mover/leaver workflows.
• Build reusable modules and runbooks for safe, scalable operations.
• Lead baseline network architecture for Melbourne hub and satellites.
