Job summary

Ubank is hiring a Platform Engineer - Developer Experience in Sydney. You will design, build and evolve internal developer platforms to boost engineering productivity, delivering reusable workflows and golden paths that align with governance and security standards.

You will partner with feature squads, security and architecture to reduce friction, improve delivery, and create scalable solutions that benefit multiple teams across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience in Software/Backend/Platform engineering.
• Built reusable platform capabilities consumed by multiple teams.
• Strong fundamentals with TypeScript, Node.js and React.
• Familiar with CI/CD, cloud-native development and infrastructure as code.
• Ability to improve engineering workflows with automation and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Build internal developer products and reusable platform capabilities.
• Improve software delivery with scalable platform services and pipelines.
• Enable observability and reliability with dashboards, tooling and runbooks.
• Collaborate with security, risk and cross-functional partners to balance delivery velocity and compliance.
