Job summary

Neogen Corporation, Oakdale, MN, is seeking a Platform Engineer to join the Platform Engineering team within Software and Firmware Engineering. You will build shared AWS infrastructure, automate deployment, and provide self-service platform capabilities for internal teams and external partners.

This role balances production support with platform development to improve reliability, security, and developer productivity.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of professional platform engineering/DevOps experience.
• Hands-on AWS infrastructure, Terraform, and CI/CD experience.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and improve shared AWS infrastructure and Terraform modules.
• Develop CI/CD templates and automated deployment workflows.
• Implement monitoring/observability dashboards with Grafana and Prometheus.
• Provide production support, incident response, and on-call coverage.
• Ensure security, SOC 2 readiness, and compliance within software delivery.
