Job summary

Auto & General is seeking a Platform Engineer to design and enhance our cloud platform, enabling developers to deliver high-quality software. You will work within a Cloud Platform squad to design, build, and implement platform improvements, ensuring tools and services run smoothly for internal systems and customers.

You’ll join a collaborative, fast-paced team that values continuous learning, with ongoing training and certifications.

Qualifications

Hands-on with AWS in an enterprise setup.
Strong Kubernetes architecture knowledge and cluster deployment.
Familiar with observability tools and monitoring concepts.
Solid TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S and cloud networking basics.

Responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain Terraform modules and configurations for AWS resources.
Collaborate with application teams to accelerate software delivery.
Develop and manage build and deployment pipelines.
Manage Kubernetes clusters, including provisioning, networking, monitoring and upgrades.
Support cloud operations and troubleshoot infrastructure issues with the team.
Participate in incident response and post-incident analysis for cloud infra.
