Job summary

Hyqual Australia Pty Ltd in Caloundra is seeking a reliable Machine Operator / Production Team Member to operate plastic injection moulding machines and assist with finishing and metallising processes. You will load/unload moulds, trim parts, inspect for defects, and help keep the production area safe and tidy.

Experience in plastics moulding is advantageous but not essential; strong attention to detail, safety, and teamwork are required.

Qualifications

Previous experience operating injection moulding machines or plastics manufacturing is advantageous but not essential.
High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Strong safety focus and willingness to follow procedures.
Good time management, planning and organisational skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

Operate plastic injection moulding machines and monitor production.
Load and unload moulds and equipment and ensure consistent product quality.
Trim, finish and inspect injection-moulded components.
Identify defects or machine issues and report them.
Prepare parts for metallising and lacquering.
Operate vacuum metallising equipment with appropriate training.
Ensure finished products meet quality standards and safety procedures.
Maintain a clean and safe work area and assist with other production tasks as needed.
