Seek is seeking a production operator in Brisbane, Queensland to set up, operate and optimise plastic injection moulding machines and to ensure products meet specifications.

You will perform changeovers, monitor performance, identify issues to minimise downtime and scrap, and conduct in-process quality inspections. The role requires a current QLD forklift license for safe material handling and a strong work ethic in a team environment.

Responsabilidades

• Set up, operate, and optimise plastic injection moulding machines
• Perform job changeovers including tooling and material changes
• Monitor machine performance (cycle times, temperatures, pressures)
• Identify and rectify process issues to minimise downtime and scrap
• Perform in-process quality inspections and ensure compliance with specifications
• Support preventative maintenance activities and basic troubleshooting
• Adhere to WHS, quality, and company compliance standards
• Forklift Operation: Must have a current QLD HRW Forklift license. Safely operate a forklift to move raw materials, moulds, finished products, and palletised stock.
• Work Ethic: Physically fit for manual handling, punctual, detail-oriented, and ready to work in a supportive team environment
• Batch making, picking and packing and machine operations.
