Job summary

Boral Limited is seeking a dedicated Plant Operator for our Orange Grove quarry site in Perth, WA. This permanent, full-time role involves safe operation of mobile and fixed plant equipment, starting near 6am with long days and possible overtime, plus ongoing maintenance and housekeeping.

You will join a team focused on safety and quality, with opportunities for mentoring from industry leaders and career development in a stable, Equal Opportunity workplace.

Qualifications

• Experience in loader operations (CAT 972/980) or face loading operations (CAT 990 or similar).
• Experience with Front End loader/Haul Truck/Moxy/Grader also considered.
• Ability to use Loadrite scales and experience with mobile screening operations is advantageous.

• Operate quarry mobile and fixed plant equipment safely.
• Basic maintenance and plant housekeeping.
• Participate in safety initiatives including pre-starts, toolbox talks and incident/hazard reporting.

Your next opportunity

Boral are happy to present a permanent, full-time opportunity for a dedicated Plant Operator to become an integral part of our dynamic and dedicated team. You will undertake responsibility for ensuring the secure and proficient operation of our quarry's mobile and fixed plant equipment located at our Orange Grove site - Perth WA.

Your day will involve:

• Most days will start at 6am and operators can work up to and over 10 hours per day


• Safe operation of quarry mobile plant as required


• Basic maintenance and plant housekeeping


• Participation in safety initiatives including pre-starts, toolboxes and incident / hazard reporting

What are we looking for?

• Experience in Sales Loader operations (CAT 972 / 980 or similar) or Face Loading operations (CAT 990 or similar) - Highly Advantageous


• Experience with Front End loader/Haul Truck/Moxy/Grader also considered


• Have the ability to use Loadrite scales, and previous experience with mobile screening operations - Highly advantageous


• Quarry experience highly regarded, but not essential


• Self-motivated with a strong commitment to safety and quality


• Are a team player and enjoy being part of a productive team


• Availability to work Monday to Saturday
