Job summary

Boral Quarries in Glen Forbes, Victoria, is seeking a permanent Loader Operator to join our dedicated team. You will operate loaders and complementary equipment, perform basic maintenance and housekeeping, and contribute to continuous improvement and safety initiatives on site.

The successful candidate will have plant operation experience, be self-motivated about safety and quality, work well in a team with minimal supervision and be available to work Monday to Saturday.

Qualifications

• Experience in plant operation (Face Loader or fixed plant experience desirable).
• Self-motivated with a strong commitment to safety and quality.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Safe and efficient operation of Loaders, Excavator, Haul Truck, Watercart, etc.
• Basic maintenance and machine housekeeping
• Active participation in problem solving and continuous improvement activities
• Participation in safety initiatives including pre-starts, toolbox talks and incident reporting

We have a permanent, full-time opportunity for a dedicated Loader Operator to become an integral part of our dynamic and dedicated team. As the latest addition to our workforce, you will be responsible for ensuring the secure and proficient operation of our quarry's at our Glen Forbes site.

Your day will involve:

• Safe and efficient operation of Loaders, Excavator, Haul Truck, Watercart, etc.
• Basic maintenance and machine housekeeping
• Active participation in problem solving and continuous improvement activities
• Participation in safety initiatives including pre-starts, toolboxes and incident reporting

What are we looking for?
