Job summary

Boral invites applications for a permanent, full-time Plant Operator at the Orange Grove site in Perth WA. You will be responsible for the safe operation of our quarry mobile and fixed plant equipment, with focus on reliability and quality.

Typical shifts start early and can extend beyond ten hours, Monday to Saturday, with ongoing mentoring from industry leaders. We value teamwork, safety, and a proactive approach to maintenance and housekeeping.

Qualifications

• Experience in loader operations (CAT 972/980) or face loading (CAT 990) is highly advantageous.
• Experience with front end loader, haul trucks, Moxy or grader is valued.
• Familiarity with Loadrite scales and mobile screening operations is advantageous.
• Quarry experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Self-motivated, safety-conscious and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate quarry mobile and fixed plant equipment.
• Perform basic maintenance and keep the work area clean and organised.
• Contribute to safety initiatives including pre-start checks, toolbox talks, and incident/hazard reporting.
