Job summary

Boral is seeking a skilled Plant Operator to ensure safe, efficient operation of mobile and fixed plant equipment at Lobethal Quarry near Adelaide. You will help keep production on track and support continuous improvement initiatives.

This permanent, on-site role offers training opportunities and the chance to work with a committed team, with overtime and allowances available and a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience operating quarry mobile plant is essential.
• HR truck licence is advantageous but not required.
• Quarry experience is valued but not necessary.

• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team.
• Available to work Monday to Saturday.

• Operate quarry mobile plant and equipment (Haul Truck, Excavator, and/or Front-End Loader) safely and efficiently.
• Manage the operation of the crushing plant with precision.
• Perform basic maintenance and maintain plant cleanliness.
• Engage in problem-solving and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
• Participate in safety initiatives, including pre-start checks, toolbox talks, and incident reporting.

What are we looking for?

• Experience with mobile plant operation is essential (Sales Loader experience is a bonus).
• HR truck licence is advantageous but not required.
• Quarry experience is valued but not necessary.
• Self-motivated with a strong commitment to safety and quality.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team with minimal supervision.
• Available to work Monday to Saturday.
