Tablelands Regional Council’s Malanda-based team is seeking a reliable Plant Operator to join our Parks & Gardens department. This full-time permanent role operates and maintains plant for construction and maintenance projects across the Tablelands Region.

Our Malanda-based team is looking for a reliable and practical team player who takes pride in their work, prioritises safety and demonstrates initiative to join our Parks & Gardens department as a full-time permanent Plant Operator.

This position is responsible for the operation and maintenance of plant associated with Parks & Gardens construction and maintenance projects, while providing a high standard of operational and maintenance labouring skills and knowledge across the Tablelands Region.

• Base salary package from $62,195.63 per annum ($2,392.14 per fortnight)
• A range of allowances included in base salary
• Attractive work/life balance - 76 hour / 9-day fortnight (fortnightly RDO)

• 5 weeks annual leave with 17.5% leave loading
